Mother's Day Flowers and Clay Celebration

I’ve been making and playing with some classic vase shapes, tell me what you think.

I’ve been making new vases and testing new glaze combinations. This is a single glaze called sea-world blue, I love how one glaze can create so many shades of itself it’s considered a world.

This is a combination of a sage green matte glaze with a shiny white glaze over it. Some of the vases will have my usual decoration but others will feature the simple beauty of the glazes.

There will be plenty of other vases, tiles, birdhouses, and lamps as well. You’ll be sure to find Mom a gift she’ll love.

Marina's silver standard poodle, sitting on the studio floor with her head cocked to the left with a red vase of sunflowers.

Gem wants you to remember it’s Saturday, May 13th, from 1 pm to 5pm.
