Getting an email whose subject line starts with the word interview is always fun. In this case, it was for Midtown and 5 West magazines back in May. I was about to leave for the tile festival, so we quickly talked; I sent some pictures and promptly forgot about it in the frenzy of show preparations.
Over the holiday weekend, I gave my arms a break and stopped glazing for a few days. Browsing past emails instead of mindlessly scrolling Instagram, I came across the original email and realized I should follow up. I emailed and asked if the article had come out, and it had.
